FEAR and LOOTING in Baghdad

So, are we watching a nation reclaim its long denied goods, or is this human nature without the gas mask on?

There is no body either- not the one that provoked this war in the first place. The release of fear has released the loathing, the pent up energy these poor folks have repressed for 30 years. But they need a body- dead or alive- and they need it to tear limb from limb-bit by bit- finger by finger-organ by organ, and pound by pound by pound of flesh. Nothing else will do. The war has only just begun. The enemy is still within. No weapons of mass destruction, no chemicals- and he ain't there. No closure. No balanced information. No satisfaction. WAR does not work. THAT is the nature of WAR.. We are watching hope on a spit, and whether it is rare , well done, or over-cooked, it is still in the fire.
