The Gonzo Art Trail encourages lively public participation — locally and around the world — through a series of missions facilitated by the app GooseChase. The trail launches Sunday, March 1. The Trail will culminate at the Torrance Art Museum for the “Ralph Steadman: And Another Thing” exhibition. Those who join the app, take part and attend the exhibition at Torrance Art Museum will also receive a special, limited-edition commemorative Ralph Steadman enamel pin (subject to availability, while stocks last).

Interactive Gonzo Art Trail Launches 1st March at NOON, PST.

We’re inviting you to take part in the Gonzo Art Trail by joining in for as many missions, meet-ups, and art activations as you can.
The Gonzo Art Trail app launches on March 1, 2026, at noon Pacific Time, and everyone is welcome. It’s free and fun to join.

Come out, meet new people, and show your support for Ralph Steadman, great art and educational collaborations. The Trail will lead you to book events, dining, art-making missions, cafe meet-ups, museum visits, mural art tours, local businesses, movie nights, and more. Your trail leads you to Torrance Art Museum for the Ralph Steadman and Another Thing exhibition, running from March 28 through May 9, 2025.
Participants will earn points for each mission.



Torrance Art Museum Launch, 28th March, 6-9pm
For the first time, this extensive traveling exhibition which spans over 60 years of Ralph Steadman’s influential and lauded career, and features more than 140 original artworks and ephemera, including sketchbooks, handwritten notes, and personal photographs is coming to California. He is best known for his long collaboration with Hunter S. Thompson, notably illustrating 1971’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas: A Savage Journey to the Heart of the American Dream.
A unique Art Trail has been planned for the Los Angeles area, developing partnerships with small businesses, libraries and other art institutions, creating an immersive Gonzo experience. It will enable subscribers to share photos and engage a community of Steadman fans and attend specially curated events for participants. Download the app using the QR code and take the ride!!
Those who join the Goosechase App, take part, and attend the exhibition at Torrance Art Museum will also receive a special limited edition commemorative Ralph Steadman enamel pin (while stocks last).
Ralph Steadman Live Show, at The Actors Gang
Inspired by the artist's life, work and music.
A truly unique event is coming to the Actor’s Gang. In celebration of Ralph Steadman: And Another Thing art exhibition at the Torrance Art Museum, CA from 28th March through 9th May. A motley crew of fans and friends will be gathering to perform readings and sing songs penned and inspired by this maverick artist’s 70 year career.
Tim Robbins will be hosting the event that includes readings by Sir Anthony Hopkins, Michael C Mahon and Pat Healey, singing from Kim Chase and an introduction by Ralph’s youngest daughter, Sadie Williams, to a backdrop of Ralph Steadman’s art. Stay tuned for updates.
Signing, Splatting and Sadie
Join us on the evening of Monday, March 30th at 7pm, at the famed Book Soup in Los Angeles to get your Ralph Steadman and Another Thing exhibition catalogue. This full-color 210-page hardcover or softcover book, which highlights over 65 years of Ralph’s creative contribution and artworks featured from March 28th through May 9th, 2026, at the Torrance Art Museum. The And Another Thing exhibition catalogue can be exclusively purchased on the Book Soup website.
Sadie Williams, Ralph’s daughter and Executive Director of the Ralph Steadman Art Collection, will stamp and splatter your catalogue with ink from Ralph’s own desk. The event is a chance for fans and anyone curious about Steadman art and history to come together and have some fun. While Ralph can’t travel from the UK to LA, we will celebrate and share images, along with all your comments and wishes, with him. Ralph last visited Book Soup in February 2007 to sign his book, “The Jokes Over,” an autobiographical memoir that shares his personal stories and insights into Gonzo and Hunter S. Thompson.

Car and motorcycle enthusiasts, along with the general public and artists, are invited to celebrate racing and enjoy the festivities at The American Honda Collection Hall in Torrance, CA. Your Mission is to attend the event and post photos of the best cars, bikes, and anything cool that catches your eye. You can also contribute a photo of your own artwork inspired by the event. Share with each other and with Ralph!
Ralph Steadman exhibition co-curator and crew will be there, giving away art stickers in celebration of the exhibition.

Visitors are invited to bring their own unique vehicles, including motorcycles of any brand or era, to showcase while enjoying the museum and event activities. Each show features a specific theme, special displays, exhibitors, vendors, music, food trucks, giveaways, a store, and a café. The theme for this event is "Racing," and it is scheduled to take place the weekend before the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach.
